Detailed preoperative lymphatic mapping by lymphoscintigraphy for sentinel node identification: a pictorial essay

چکیده
Abstract Pre-operative lymphatic mapping for sentinel node identification is essential accurate staging in patients with several solid cancers and important prognostic implications. 99m Tc-labelled colloid lymphoscintigraphy intraoperative lymph detection using a gamma probe represent well-established nuclear medicine technique detailed imaging method thanks to the advent of hybrid multi-modality SPET/CT. Through description numerous clinical cases, different terms cancer type fields application, we aimed bring out strengths advantages pre-operative that make it still today incomparable other techniques.
